Jones Hargreaves appoints associate partner
Commercial building and sustainability consultancy Jones Hargreaves has appointed William Thorpe as associate partner and chartered project manager in its Manchester office.
William joins from Hollis and brings around 15 years’ experience across project management and building consultancy, having also held senior roles at MDA Consulting and Trident Building Consultancy.
A former Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineer in the British Armed Forces, he later qualified in construction and building surveying before progressing into project management.
William said: “The team at Jones Hargreaves has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, client-focused services across a diverse portfolio.
“I’m pleased to join at a time of further growth for the business, and in particular working with the senior leaders to expand the company’s project management capabilities.”
William’s appointment strengthens Jones Hargreaves’ Manchester team as the consultancy continues to grow nationally, supporting developers, investment funds and major retail and property clients across the UK.
Nick Twigg, partner at Jones Hargreaves, added: “Jones Hargreaves is proud to be working on a range of large projects and portfolios nationwide, which is in turn enabling us to hire even more brilliant people.
“The Manchester office is a hive of activity and I’m pleased to welcome William, who brings strong knowledge and experience and professionalism to the role.
“Jones Hargreaves is committed to investing in people and their careers, and I know William will be a great addition to the business as we continually strive for excellence.”
