Estate agent expands after doubling rental portfolio
A Yorkshire estate agency is expanding its residential lettings operation after doubling the number of rental homes under management in the past year.
Dacre, Son & Hartley says growing demand from landlords navigating complex legislation, alongside strong tenant demand across the region, has driven significant growth in its lettings and property management division.
The expansion follows the relaunch of the firm’s lettings arm two years ago and the acquisition of North Yorkshire estate agency Lister Haigh last spring, which added a substantial managed portfolio.
The firm now manages a wide range of rental properties across North and West Yorkshire, from apartments to rural family homes.
To support continued growth, Dacres has expanded its lettings division to a seven-strong team across North and West Yorkshire, with the appointments of Deborah Saia in Bingley and the Aire Valley, and Rachel Fisher in Harrogate and surrounding North Yorkshire communities.
Patrick McCutcheon, head of residential at Dacres, said: “Our lettings and property management division has grown significantly since relaunching and doubling the number of homes we manage in just 12 months demonstrates the strength of demand for high quality professional services across Yorkshire.
“We’re seeing increasing numbers of landlords looking for expert support, particularly as legislation and compliance requirements continue to evolve following the recent introduction of The Renters’ Rights Act.
“At the same time, there remains very strong tenant demand for well-presented and professionally managed homes across Yorkshire’s key towns and villages.”
