Financial planner boosts city presence with move
A wealth management firm is putting down stronger city roots with an office switch.
Ardent Financial Planning is moving to York’s Colonia House.
The Toft Green base will replace a Clifton hub.
Sitting close to York’s Hudson Quarter residential and commercial development, the four-storey Colonia House building has undergone a significant refurbishment.
James Ratcliffe, partner and head of commercial agency at commercial property consultant Colenso Property, handled the letting to Ardent Financial Planning.
He said: “Colonia House provides some of the highest quality and most accessible office space within the city walls.
“The refurbishment undertaken by the landlord has left no stone unturned.”
George Schofield, associate director at commercial property consultant Garness Jones, which is marketing the business hub alongside Colenso Property, added: “It is rare for such a significant amount of office space in York city centre to come on the market.
“It offers opportunities for businesses looking to move into York for the first time, or for those looking to upgrade their space.
“We expect significant demand.”
