Female business mastermind sells out
A North East business networking event designed specifically for female entrepreneurs is expanding after selling out its inaugural gathering.
Queens & Peacocks: Brand Visibility With Intention, a female-focused business mastermind hosted at Langley Castle, attracted women from across the region and has already prompted organisers to launch two follow-up events later this year.
The event was co-hosted by business growth mentor Laura Forsyth and Aly Johnson, founder of brand visibility and SEO business She’s a Peach.
Created to provide women with practical business support and strategic guidance, the mastermind focused on helping attendees step away from day-to-day pressures to work on business growth, visibility and long-term planning.
Initially capped at 25 attendees, the event quickly oversold, with organisers saying the response highlighted growing demand for commercially focused female business communities and practical peer support networks across the North East.
Aly said: “The energy in the room was fizzing – it was electric.
“We wanted to create something really special for women in business here in the North East: a room full of ambition, honesty, strategy and women backing women.
“That is exactly what happened.
“These women are carrying a lot, but they are also incredibly resilient, focused and ready to do things their way.”
Laura added: “I have run events before, but none have felt like this.
“It was curated so carefully, the women in the room were phenomenal, and the feedback afterwards has been overwhelming.
“We saw women share openly, cheer each other on, and do really hard work on their businesses.
“For me, this is what Queens & Peacocks is all about – celebrating women in the North East who are building brilliant businesses and helping them move forward together.”
As a result, Aly and Laura have announced two further Queens & Peacocks mastermind events, which will return to Langley Castle on September 17 and 24.
Held under the theme ‘Go Big, Finish Strong’, the sessions will focus on sales planning, pricing and visibility strategies for the final quarter of the year, helping attendees build momentum heading into 2027.
