Classic Masonry appoints business development administrator
Stonemasonry and architectural precast concrete specialist Classic Masonry, based in North Shields, has appointed Joe Pearson in a business development administration role as the company continues its growth plans.
Joe joins the business with extensive construction sector experience, having previously worked at Wates Group and spent almost 12 years with Sir Robert McAlpine as office manager.
In his new role, he will focus on analysing and organising company data to improve operational efficiency, support business development activity and help drive future growth.
Joe said: “Having previously worked with tier 1 contractors, I wanted the opportunity to look at things with a different perspective – that of a subcontractor lens.
“Classic Masonry has an excellent reputation and the team is very focused and hands on.
“This is an opportunity to make a difference and really put my stamp on the role.
“I am looking to streamline and rationalise company data making it more user friendly while also ensuring we are compliant for procurement.
“I will be working closely with our business development director, Tony Kay and taking on more responsibility in the months ahead.”
Established 35 years ago, Classic Masonry delivers specialist masonry, restoration and conservation services across both historic and modern construction projects throughout the UK.
Mike Moody, managing director at Classic Masonry, added: “We warmly welcome Joe to the team, who brings a great blend of knowledge and enthusiasm.
“The fact he has spent a great deal of his career working with tier 1 contractors will be of enormous benefit to us as we plan for future growth.
“He will bring a new dimension to our business development and procurement processes.”
