Harlow Consulting appoints research manager
Harrogate-based research agency Harlow Consulting has appointed Mary Meredith as research manager as the business continues to invest in its growing team.
Mary joins the female-led consultancy to support its mixed-methods research and evaluation work across sectors including construction, heritage, healthcare, education and the arts.
She brings experience spanning marketing, organisational research, intelligence and specialist HR roles, with particular strengths in qualitative research and evidence-led storytelling.
Mary said: “Words have always been a big part of my life, whether through reading, writing or storytelling in all its forms.
“I’m curious, analytical and enjoy untangling problems.
“Working across different sectors and disciplines has given me a wide-ranging perspective that helps me approach projects in a thoughtful and creative way.
“I’m driven by the positive impacts good research has driving practical action and positive change.
“It can have lasting impacts for public and private sector organisations in fields ranging from health to heritage.
“It’s also a huge draw working in a female-led business, with a focus on being a flexible, equitable and supportive workplace.”
Founded in 2019, Harlow Consulting works with organisations including Historic England, the NHS, Innovate UK and the British Film Institute.
Jennifer Brennan, director at Harlow Consulting, added: “Mary brings diverse skills to our team.
“She has an impressive background, and her communication skills are particularly valued as our agency continues to evolve.
“Mary has a passion and flair for understanding the human factors that influence organisational decision-making and change.”
