Binarii Labs appoints executive advisor

Irish cybersecurity company Binarii Labs, headquartered at NovaUCD in Dublin, has appointed Neil Barlow as executive advisor as the company continues its international expansion and product development strategy.

Neil brings more than 25 years’ experience across cybersecurity, AI security and technology risk management.

His previous roles include senior cybersecurity leadership positions at Meta, Capital One and NYSE Euronext, where he led security programmes across cloud infrastructure, fintech and AI systems.

Neil is also a founding contributor to AIUC-1, an emerging standard focused on securing agentic AI systems, as well as advising early-stage technology companies on AI safety and security architecture.

In his new role, he will work with Binarii Labs’ leadership team on product strategy, enterprise engagement and global growth as the company scales its distributed data security platform internationally.

He said: “What drew me to Binarii Labs is the fundamental shift in how data is handled and their impressive traction to date. 

“Rather than trying to secure data after it is centralised, Binarii’s approach removes the central point of failure entirely.

“In a world moving rapidly toward AI-driven systems and increasing regulatory scrutiny, this architecture represents a materially different, and necessary direction for data security.”

Neil’s appointment follows Binarii Labs’ recent announcement that it is raising €1.85 million to support its global scaling strategy.
