Leonard Curtis launches Birmingham funding team
Professional services firm Leonard Curtis has launched a dedicated funding team in Birmingham as part of its continued national growth strategy and investment across the Midlands.
Based in the city’s Colmore Business District, the new team will work alongside Leonard Curtis’ established Birmingham office, combining funding expertise with wider advisory and restructuring support for SMEs and mid-market businesses.
Alison Taylor joins as business advisory lead, bringing extensive experience supporting companies throughout the business lifecycle and working closely with lenders, introducers and clients on strategic funding solutions.
She is joined by funding relationship managers Jas Mall and Ed Brown.
Jas brings specialist experience across invoice finance and commercial funding following roles with Independent Growth Finance, Bibby Financial Services and RBS Invoice Finance, while Ed joins from Swoop, where he spent four years helping businesses access a broad range of funding solutions.
Becky Owen, head of funding at Leonard Curtis, said: “Birmingham is a strategically important market for us and this launch reflects our ambition to expand nationally supporting local businesses, introducers and lenders.
“Alison, Jas and Ed bring complementary strengths and real market presence to the region.
“Alongside our existing Birmingham team, they are well placed to make a meaningful difference to businesses across the Midlands.”
Conrad Beighton, director and head of Midlands at Leonard Curtis, added: “I’m pleased to welcome Alison, Jas and Ed to the team – their combined expertise strengthens our funding and advisory capabilities across the Midlands and reinforces our commitment to providing SMEs with the advice, access to funding and innovative solutions they need to achieve sustainable growth.”
