Lender hailed for workplace culture
A national alternative finance provider has been recognised for its workplace culture following continued investment in employee wellbeing, leadership development and collaboration.
Reward Funding has been named in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026 list for the third consecutive year in the medium organisations category.
The firm, which operates from five regional offices in Leeds, London, Manchester, Birmingham and Dunfermline, was recognised for its employee engagement, workplace culture and focus on long-term career development.
The annual rankings are compiled following analysis of organisations across 26 industries, with more than 70,000 businesses entering the awards in 2025.
Reward Funding has expanded its Empowering Leaders programme over the past year, helping managers strengthen leadership, communication and people management skills as the business continues to grow.
The company has also invested in internal systems and operational improvements designed to improve collaboration and support future growth, while initiatives such as a monthly HR newsletter featuring ‘get to know you’ updates designed to strengthen communication and team connections.
Employee-focused initiatives include regular “talking lunches” with chief executive Nick Smith, monthly drop-in sessions for staff feedback and internal newsletters designed to strengthen communication and team culture across the organisation.
