Shenton Group appoints sales and leasing director
Manchester-based real estate investor Shenton Group has appointed Chris Middleton as sales and leasing director as the firm continues to expand its city centre office portfolio.
Chris joins following senior roles at Bruntwood, Vita Group and Cadogan Estates, bringing extensive experience across commercial leasing and customer experience within the property sector.
A Manchester native, he returns to the North West as demand continues to grow for high-quality office space in central locations.
In his new role, Chris will lead leasing strategy across the group’s office assets, focusing on occupier experience, activating newly acquired buildings and supporting future acquisitions within Manchester’s evolving office market.
Chris said: “It’s a great time to be back in Manchester - the city is thriving and there’s real momentum across the commercial market.
“Shenton Group has built a strong reputation for taking great buildings in prime locations and adding real value to them.”
Chris’ appointment follows a significant period of growth for Shenton Group, which has doubled its office headcount over the past year while continuing to expand its Manchester office portfolio, currently spanning around 300,000sq ft.
Founded in 1987, Shenton Group invests across office, residential, retail, leisure and strategic land assets, with a growing focus on office-led mixed-use developments in major Northern cities.
Colin Shenton, group chief executive at Shenton Group, added: “As the quality of Manchester’s offices continues to improve, occupier expectations are building alongside it.
“Businesses now expect workplaces to offer the same quality of experience and environment that people enjoy at home.
“Chris brings a deep understanding of the market and the needs of occupiers, making him an excellent addition to the business as we continue to grow.”
