Industrial services firm expands with triple deal

An industrial services firm has expanded with a triple takeover.

LCM Environmental Group has bought Octane Holding Group and Octane Draincare, Environmental Construction Services and Petro Systems Management.

Officials say the moves will strengthen Padiham-headquartered risk and safety management company LCM Environmental Group’s presence across the UK and Ireland.

They add Bradford-based Octane Holding Group and Octane Draincare will “add further strength in drainage and related environmental services, bringing established client relationships and practical delivery experience into the group”.

Environmental Construction Services, based in the West Midlands, provides civil, mechanical and electrical services to the construction industry.

County Cork’s Petro Systems Management is known for supplying, servicing and installing fuel pumps, tank gauging and fuel management systems to forecourt, oil depot and haulage industry operators. 

Richard Wallace, chief executive of LCM Environmental Group, whose services cover areas including fuel systems, tanks, drainage and environmental controls, said: “Each business brings its own strengths.

“However, the common thread is clear: good people, strong client relationships and a reputation built through consistent delivery.

“These acquisitions are an important part of our growth as a group. 

“They give us greater depth across drainage, construction, environmental services and specialist infrastructure support, while allowing us to build on relationships that are already well established.”
