Insurance broker in £75,000 charity support
An insurance broker has unveiled £75,000 charity support.
Lycetts is backing Yorkshire Children’s Charity.
The move will see £25,000 awarded annually across three years to boost the good cause’s work with disadvantaged children and young people.
The cash was secured through Newcastle-headquartered Lycetts’ parent firm Benefact Group’s Partnership Funding programme.
Bosses say the alliance will see the company – which has an office in Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire – explore additional volunteering opportunities with the charity.
Edmund Sword, Lycetts’ Yorkshire-based divisional director, said: “Yorkshire Children’s Charity is doing exceptional work across the region.
“We were struck by the clarity of its mission, the energy of its team and its practical impact.
“We are proud to support an organisation that is so rooted in Yorkshire and so focused on making life better for children and families who need help.”
Charlotte Farrington, Yorkshire Children’s Charity founder, added: “We have seen rapid growth and success over the last four years, which has only been possible because of incredible people who share our vision.
“Our partnerships are critical to achieving this, and we couldn't be happier or prouder to have Lycetts and Benefact Group join us on this journey.
“They embody everything we stand for.”
