Marrons makes four hires to London team

Multi-disciplinary consultancy Marrons has appointed four senior professionals to its London office as it continues to expand its planning and heritage offering in the capital.

The appointments include planning directors Natalie Render and Mike Moon, who join from DP9, alongside Lorraine King as heritage partner and Emma McKeown as heritage planner, both formerly of Stantec.

Natalie brings 12 years of planning consultancy experience, having advised on major residential, commercial and mixed-use developments across London.

She said: “I was attracted to Marrons because of the opportunity to help lead and shape the growth of the London business.

“There is a real appetite within Marrons to build a stronger presence in the capital and I’m excited to play a key role in that journey.

“Having worked on major schemes such as Old Oak West, Canada Water and Euston, I’m particularly focused on working with London’s key development partners to secure planning permissions that deliver real, lasting change for the city and its communities.”

Mike joins with expertise in large-scale regeneration projects and Central London developments spanning commercial, residential, student accommodation, hotel and leisure schemes.

Mike added: “There is huge potential for Marrons to grow its London presence and I’m excited to help drive that forward.

“I’ve spent my career working in complex planning environments on major schemes in the capital, and I enjoy helping clients cut through that complexity to unlock delivery and investment opportunities.”

The appointments also strengthen Marrons’ heritage capability, with Lorraine tasked with growing the consultancy’s national heritage offer across sectors including regeneration, residential development and energy.

Emma, meanwhile, adds specialist expertise in archaeology, listed buildings, conservation areas and infrastructure projects.

Brian Mullin, head of Marrons, added: “These appointments significantly strengthen our London planning and heritage offer at a really exciting point in our growth.

“Natalie and Mike bring outstanding experience in major regeneration and will be instrumental in building our London planning portfolio.

“Alongside Emma and Lorraine, they strengthen our ability to deliver integrated, commercially focused advice across planning and heritage.

“We are focused on investing in senior talent that enables our clients to unlock complex, high-impact development opportunities across London and the wider South East region.”
