Nomada Digital expands into US market with senior hire
York-based digital agency Nomada Digital has expanded into the US market and strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of a new head of PR and communications.
The agency, which specialises in B2B search and cross-platform visibility, has secured new clients in New York as part of its international growth strategy.
Recent US wins include SaaS platform Vibe Retail and financial services firm Propeller Industries.
Alongside its stateside expansion, Nomada has appointed Amy Allard as head of PR and communications.
The newly created role brings traditional PR services in-house for the first time, complementing the agency's existing expertise in search, AI visibility, paid media and content.
Amy joins with more than a decade of communications experience, including eight years agency-side advising businesses across technology, SaaS, AI, manufacturing, construction and recycling sectors.
She said: “It's a crucial, and very exciting time to be joining Nomada.
“The agency is at a real inflection point in its journey – growing fast, entering a new market, and with a story worth telling.
“I’m looking forward to building the profile this business deserves, both here in the UK and in the US, and bringing traditional PR to Nomada’s growing list of clients.”
Founded by Danny Sullivan in 2020, Nomada has evolved from an SEO consultancy into a full-service digital visibility agency, serving clients across the UK and internationally.
Danny added: “We’ve built something in York that’s competing with agencies more than three times our size and winning.
“But we’ve been doing it quietly, and that needs to change.
“As well as offering PR to our clients, getting our story out there is also the next step in our own growth story, so Amy will be helping to build out the Nomada brand.
“We're a business that’s been punching well above its weight for years, and it’s time more people knew about it.
“Amy and I actually worked together here in York a decade ago, so when it came to bringing PR in-house, it felt like the right person at the right time.”
