Redical strengthens Merry Hill team with senior hires
Real estate owner and operator Redical has made two senior appointments at Merry Hill as it continues to invest in the West Midlands retail destination following its acquisition of the asset.
Alistair Winning has joined as leasing manager, bringing experience from Sovereign Centros, where he spent four years managing and leasing the centre.
In his new role, he will lead leasing activity across retail, hospitality and leisure, helping to attract new brands and enhance the destination's offer.
Fraser Jefferis has been appointed asset manager, joining from JLL.
He previously held a senior property management role at Hammerson, overseeing Birmingham's Bullring & Grand Central. At Merry Hill, he will support the day-to-day management of the asset and help drive performance and growth.
The appointments form part of Redical’s wider strategy to strengthen its portfolio of major retail destinations, which includes Victoria Leeds, The Liberty Romford and Clayton Square in Liverpool.
Mikko Syrjanen, co-founder of Redical, said: “Alistair and Fraser are exactly the calibre of people we were looking for as we establish our team at Merry Hill.
“Alistair’s prior involvement with the centre is a genuine asset, as he understands the market, the occupier mix and the opportunities, whilst Fraser brings a strong track record across major retail destinations in the region and beyond.
“Together, they give Merry Hill a strong foundation to deliver Redical’s vision for the destination.”
