Velstar appoints financial director to support growth
Liverpool-based marketing agency Velstar has appointed Andrew Pietralski as financial director, further strengthening its senior leadership team as the firm continues to expand.
Andrew joins from Cprime and brings experience across financial services, fintech and professional services organisations.
He began his career at PwC, specialising in audit within the financial services sector.
In his new role, he will work closely with Velstar’s leadership team to support the agency’s growth strategy, providing commercial insight and helping to strengthen financial processes across the business.
He will also play a key role in supporting data-led decision-making as Velstar continues to scale its operations and client offering.
Andrew said: “I’m really excited to be joining Velstar to support the next phase of growth in the business, working closely with the leadership team to build on the strong foundations already in place and drive commercial insights across the business.
“What immediately stood out to me was Velstar’s strong reputation for delivering high-quality work and the clear focus on putting clients at the heart of everything they do.
“Combined with the strength of the leadership team, an ambitious growth strategy and an impressive client portfolio.”
Andrew’s appointment reflects the agency’s continued investment in leadership and infrastructure to support its next phase of growth.
Peter Birks, chief executive at Velstar, added: “At this stage of Velstar’s growth, the right financial director matters.
“Andrew brings deep expertise, a commercial instinct and a natural feel for using data to drive decisions.
“That combination gives us a lot of confidence as we continue to scale.
“We’re delighted to welcome him to Velstar and look forward to the impact he will have across the business.”
