KLIK unlocks community platform access
A software platform is aiming to help membership organisations reduce upfront technology costs through a new finance partnership.
Hartlepool-based KLIK SaaS has partnered with Vante Finance to make its licensed community platform available through a tax-deductible monthly lease.
The agreement is designed for business clubs, chambers of commerce, trade bodies and membership-based social enterprises looking to create fully branded online communities without significant initial expenditure.
KLIK can be activated through two buttons added to an existing website, giving organisations control of their data and allowing them to retain all revenue generated through the platform.
The partnership allows organisations to spread licensing costs through fixed monthly payments, which can be deducted against taxable profits in the same year.
Kelly M. Whitfield, founder and chief executive of KLIK SaaS, said: “I want KLIK to be accessible to all, especially good causes and charities, so I had to find a way to remove significant upfront costs and make the licence more affordable.
“Organisations can now license KLIK, offset the cost against tax and keep the revenue their platform generates.”
Vante Finance, a UK-based commercial finance brokerage, works with more than 100 lenders to help businesses access funding and structure software licensing as an operating expense.
Liam Eccles, director of Vante Finance, added: “KLIK stood out because it does exactly what we set out to help SMEs do: generate real income and build stronger communities.
“That shared ethos is clear when you speak to Kelly, and it’s why we’re proud to make it more accessible.”
KLIK has also opened its Pioneer Programme, offering selected founding organisations 50 per cent off the standard licence fee and a role in shaping future platform development.
