Kutchenhaus opens first North East showroom

A German kitchen showroom has opened in Gateshead, marking the brand’s first North East location.

Kutchenhaus Newcastle has launched at 206 High Street, offering a two-floor showroom spanning more than 2300sq ft.

The showroom features 13 kitchen displays, ranging from traditional to contemporary designs, with styles, colours and finishes aimed at different lifestyles, layouts and budgets.

Led by managing director Ali Hamid, the Gateshead site offers a complete design, supply and installation service.

Ali, an architecture graduate with seven years’ experience in the kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms sector, is working alongside a wider team that already operates showrooms in Liverpool, the Wirral and Stoke-on-Trent.

The showroom includes appliances from brands such as BSH, AEG, BORA, CDA and Hotpoint.

Ali said: “I’m proud to launch this new business in Gateshead and to welcome people through our doors for the first time. 

“We have created a space where every detail is considered and with each aspect of the showroom, we’re showcasing the possibilities of German kitchen design, using an architectural approach to create kitchens that are truly beautiful and functional.

“We’ll help customers feel less overwhelmed when it comes to decision making and ensure the end result is something they’re incredibly proud of.”

Kutchenhaus, owned by nobilia, Europe’s largest kitchen manufacturer, now operates more than 100 showrooms across its network.
