Simulator firm races ahead with Cadillac F1 agreement
A tech firm is in pole position after securing an elite motorsport deal.
Dynisma is set to supply a driving simulator to the Cadillac Formula 1 team.
The Bristol-based company says the technology will support vehicle development, driver preparation and set-up work across the global single-seater competition’s calendar.
It adds the simulator will be installed at Cadillac Formula 1’s Indianapolis site, where it will operate as a “key investment” in the nascent team’s “long-term performance capability”.
Ash Warne, Dynisma founder and chief technology officer, said: “We are proud to support Cadillac Formula 1 as it continues to build its technical capability.
“Our technology is engineered to deliver a highly repeatable, high-fidelity environment, supporting informed decision-making across long-term car development and race-by-race set-up preparation.”
Nick Chester, Cadillac Formula 1 chief technical officer, added: “Selecting the right simulator platform is a key decision for any team.
“This is an important step as we establish tools and systems to support our engineering work and driver programme over coming seasons.”
