Payroll firm expands into Ireland
A Manchester payroll outsourcing specialist has launched a new office in Dublin.
Lucas White Payroll Services has opened a base at the Guinness Enterprise Centre as part of plans to support a growing client base across Ireland and further expand its operations overseas.
Founded in 2017 by chief executive Lauren Winn, the company provides fully managed payroll services for businesses and accountancy firms, covering salaries, pensions, tax administration and regulatory compliance.
The expansion comes as Irish employers prepare for the introduction of the country’s long-awaited auto-enrolment pension scheme, which is expected to increase payroll and compliance responsibilities for many organisations.
Bosses say the firm’s expertise in pension administration and compliance positions it to support businesses navigating the changes.
They add the Dublin office will also help the firm support overseas companies employing staff in Ireland, where employers must comply with Irish PAYE requirements even if they do not have a physical presence in the country.
Lauren Winn, founder and chief executive of Lucas White Payroll Services, said: “Opening our Dublin office is an exciting step forward for the business and an important milestone in our growth journey.
“Since launching in Manchester, we’ve built the company around delivering exceptional payroll services and supporting organisations both domestically and internationally.
“Expanding into Dublin strengthens our presence, brings us closer to clients and creates opportunities that will attract outstanding talent. We’re particularly proud that this growth will also create new jobs and help build the next chapter of the business.”
