Hippo appoints commercial chief
Leeds-headquartered digital transformation consultancy Hippo has appointed Andy Kemp as chief commercial officer as it continues to expand across the public and private sectors.
Andy brings more than 25 years of experience in digital and data transformation, joining from Kainos where he served as director for public sector.
He has also held senior commercial leadership roles at Kainos and BAE Systems.
In his new role, Andy will lead Hippo’s commercial strategy, develop strategic partnerships and support the delivery of digital solutions for a growing portfolio of clients.
Andy said: “Hippo has built a phenomenal reputation for delivering successful human-centred digital transformation and I am incredibly excited to join the team.
“We have highly ambitious growth targets, and I am eager to lead our collaborative teams in cementing our existing and building new strategic partnerships, expanding our reach, and taking our evolving capabilities to deliver some of the most important services in digital government, healthcare and the private sector.”
Andy’s appointment follows a strong period of growth for the business, which recently celebrated its tenth anniversary and has secured a number of major contracts across health, government and the private sector.
Hippo now employs more than 700 specialists across six UK offices as it continues to scale its operations nationwide.
Adam Lewis, chief executive and founder at Hippo, added: “As Hippo takes the next step on its growth journey, we’re delighted to have Andy on board and leading our commercial strategy.
“Andy’s experience across the public and private sector, and proven track record of driving commercial success and building strategic partnerships will ensure that as we grow, we continue to deliver outcomes for our clients that set us apart.”
