JOAN London strengthens leadership team
London-based creative agency JOAN London has appointed Nicky Vita as head of strategy as it continues its rapid growth and investment in senior talent.
Nicky joins from Atomic London, where she served as head of strategy, and brings extensive experience from senior roles at BBH London and VCCP.
During her career, she has worked with major brands including Primark, LinkedIn, O2, Ladbrokes and Nest Pensions.
As part of JOAN London’s leadership team, she will help drive growth, strengthen strategic leadership and support the agency’s expanding client portfolio.
Nicky said: “JOAN feels like a secret weapon - an agency brimming with great work and potential that is about to come pouring out.
“Great and nice people – tick. Incredible culture – tick. Spearheaded by women – massive tick.
“Yes, I am excited. I am also terrified, nervous, delighted, optimistic and keen to build.”
Nicky’s appointment follows the recent arrival of Gerry Graf as global chief creative officer and comes as the female-founded agency continues to build its presence in the UK market.
Since launching its London office in 2023, JOAN has secured clients including eBay, Ancestry and TOTM while continuing to expand its team and capabilities.
Matthew Robinson, managing director at JOAN London, added: “What an exciting time to be part of JOAN.
“Nicky was a no-brainer for us – she’s had an incredible career in the industry so far, and we can’t wait to tap into her knowledge and expertise.
“We’ve got huge ambitions for the rest of the year and beyond – and Nicky’s arrival feels like a key part of that.”
