Knight Frank expands rating team

Newcastle-based commercial property consultancy Knight Frank has strengthened its northern business rates team with the appointment of Paul Davinson and Ross Haywood as partners.

Joining from JLL, Paul and Ross will play a key role in developing the firm's rating services across its Newcastle, Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester offices.

The pair bring extensive expertise in business rates and property consultancy, further enhancing Knight Frank's specialist offering to clients across the North.

Paul said: “This is a tremendous opportunity for me, as Knight Frank – already the best in town – look to expand their rates team.

“Demand for specialist advice has increased exponentially as the business rates landscape becomes ever more complex and continues to evolve for both owners and occupiers.

“I look forward to meeting this challenge.”

Ross added: “Paul and I have worked together successfully as a team for a number of years now and I’m looking forward to continuing our partnership.

Based in Newcastle, they will work alongside rating consultant Sophie Gardener and business support coordinator Mandy Clough as the team continues to grow. 

The appointments form part of Knight Frank's wider investment in its regional property services and come with plans for further recruitment as demand for specialist rating advice increases.
