Lovell Renew strengthens leadership team
Midlands-based housing refurbishment and retrofit specialist Lovell Renew Central has appointed Andy Webster as head of commercial as it continues to expand across the region.
Andy brings more than 15 years of experience across facilities management and social housing.
He has worked with local authorities, combined authorities and framework providers to deliver net-zero and housing improvement programmes.
In his new role, Andy will lead the commercial function of the business and help grow its pipeline of refurbishment, maintenance and retrofit projects across the Midlands.
He said: “Lovell Renew stood out to me because it offers the opportunity to be part of a business that is ambitious and growing, while still having the backing and stability of a national builder.
“It feels like a fresh start within an established brand, with a real focus on delivery and making a meaningful impact in people’s homes and communities.
“As head of commercial, I’m looking forward to leading and developing the commercial team, supporting collaboration across the business and helping create opportunities for the next generation coming into the industry.
“There’s a real ambition within the team and a shared ethos of doing the right thing, being easy to talk to and showing that we care, which really aligns with my own values.”
Andy’s appointment comes during a period of sustained growth for Lovell Renew Central, which has increased its workforce by 27 per cent over the past 12 months.
The company has also made a number of senior internal promotions and received industry recognition, including being named ‘Contractor of the Year’ at the People in Housing Awards, as it continues to strengthen its reputation across the region.
Carl Yale, regional managing director for Lovell Renew Central, added: “Since becoming a standalone business in January, we have continued to expand our presence across the Midlands, and our team is a huge part of that.
“Growing at such a pace is incredibly rewarding, and our continued investment in people is helping us go from strength to strength, ensuring we have the right talent to deliver projects the Lovell way.”
