Westgate Oxford appoints centre director
Retail and leisure destination Westgate Oxford has appointed Clare Martin as centre director as it continues to strengthen its position as a leading visitor destination.
Clare has been part of the Westgate Oxford team since 2018 and most recently served as deputy centre director.
During her time with the business, she played a key role in attracting major brands including Sephora, The Beefy Boys and Flight Club.
In her new role, she will lead the centre’s ongoing development, with a focus on enhancing its retail, leisure and dining offer while strengthening its community engagement programme.
Clare said: “I am delighted to be stepping into the role of centre director at a destination I care so deeply about.
“Oxfordshire has been my home for nearly thirty years, so I know firsthand what makes this community so special.
“My focus is to build on the centre’s success ensuring it continues to be a vibrant, welcoming space that brings new brands and experiences to our city.”
Clare’s appointment comes as Westgate Oxford continues to invest in its position as a vibrant city destination.
She will build on the centre’s partnerships with local schools, charities and community organisations while supporting a programme of events and activities designed to attract visitors from across the region.
Clare added: “By blending brilliant retail with fantastic dining, leisure, and community events, we want to create unforgettable experiences that make Westgate Oxford the go to choice for a great day out, while also encouraging our guests to explore everything the wider city of Oxford has to offer.”
