SUMMIT co-founder joins DPS board
Lancashire-based print equipment and workflow specialist DPS has appointed Andy Henderson as non-executive director as it continues its next phase of growth.
Andy is co-founder of business strategy and growth consultancy SUMMIT and brings more than 25 years of experience across technology, consultancy and business development.
Throughout his career, he has scaled businesses to multi-million-pound turnover and supported hundreds of organisations with strategic growth planning.
In his new role, Andy will work alongside managing director Will Doherty to help shape DPS's long-term strategy, supporting growth opportunities, partnerships and future expansion initiatives.
Andy said: “What immediately stood out to me about DPS was the integrity behind the business.
“Will and the team have built something with a very clear purpose and a strong set of values.
“There’s huge potential ahead for DPS and a real opportunity to continue challenging how the print industry operates by putting transparency, collaboration and trust at the centre of the customer experience.
“The business is entering a really exciting stage of growth and I’m looking forward to helping the team bring clarity, cohesion and strategic direction to the opportunities ahead.”
Andy’s appointment comes as DPS strengthens its position across commercial print, digital print, direct mail, finishing equipment and workflow solutions.
It also reflects the company's continued focus on sustainable growth as it expands its services and support for customers across the UK.
Will added: “I built this business because I wanted to do things differently. Within the industry, there is often too great a focus on simply selling machines rather than properly supporting customers.
“Andy has played an important role in our journey already, both as a mentor and as someone who genuinely understands what we’re trying to achieve with DPS.
“Everything we do is built around honesty, trust and long-term relationships, and Andy shares those same values.”
