Freedom Media Group appoints strategy chief
Manchester-based media agency Freedom Media Group has appointed Dominic Rebello as head of strategy as it continues to invest in its next phase of growth.
Dominic joins from MediaCom, where he established and led the agency’s strategy function.
He brings more than 15 years of experience developing growth strategies for clients across sectors including automotive, FMCG, fashion, finance and ecommerce.
In his new role, Dominic will lead strategic planning across the agency, strengthen client relationships and support new business development.
He will also help shape Freedom Media Group’s thought leadership and industry profile.
Dominic said: “After 15 years in a network environment I wanted to work somewhere the strategic thinking could have a more direct impact on clients’ businesses, on the agency’s direction, on the work itself.
“FMG has genuine senior thinking, real agility, and clients who want more than a channel plan.
“That's an interesting place to be.”
Dominic’s appointment represents a significant investment in the agency’s senior leadership team and comes as Freedom Media Group continues to expand its client base.
The business works with organisations including Liverpool City Council, the NHS, Lexus and LMA, supporting brands with media planning, strategy and growth.
Daniel Thompson, founder and managing director of Freedom Media Group, added: “What sets Dom apart isn’t just his track record, it’s the way he strategically thinks.
“He has the ability to get to the heart of a business problem quickly, strip away the complexity, and find the fundamental truth that makes everything else easier to solve.
“That is exactly the kind of thinking that adds real value to clients, and it is exactly what I want at the core of how Freedom operates and the value it delivers to clients.”
