North West surveying specialist joins Trident
National surveying practice Trident Building Consultancy has appointed Simon Davies as director of its Liverpool office as it looks to strengthen its presence across the North West.
Simon brings more than 25 years of experience in the property sector, having held senior roles in building surveying, asset management and multidisciplinary consultancy.
His career has included positions with an international loss adjuster, a housing association and a consultancy where he led building surveying and structural engineering teams.
Based at Trident’s Castle Street office, Simon will focus on raising the profile of the business across the Liverpool market while supporting the growth of its client base and service offering in the region.
He said: “Having spent a career working in Merseyside, Liverpool, and the North West, I have a very good knowledge of the area, the key people, and the major developments which are helping to transform the region.
“Trident Building Consultancy, with its national experience and wide range of professional services, has a fantastic opportunity to build on the tremendous value it already offers to the property and construction sector in the North West.
“My main objective in my new role is to fully realise this opportunity.”
Simon’s appointment forms part of the firm’s continued investment in its regional operations as it seeks to expand its presence and strengthen relationships with property owners, investors and occupiers across the North West.
Managing director Dan Roe added: “The North West of England has always been a key market for us because it is such a buoyant region with a lot of development going on.
“Part of our strategy for growth, both in the North West and across all the regions in which we operate, is to employ the best local people who are embedded in the sector.
“Simon certainly lives up to these criteria as a highly experienced and respected surveyor who has spent his career in and around Liverpool.
“I’m very excited about this appointment as I believe it will have a transformative effect on our Liverpool office.”
