S&W appoints Manchester tax partner

Professional services group S&W has appointed Ed Gibson as partner in its Manchester business tax team as it continues to expand its presence in the North West.

Ed is an international tax specialist with nearly 25 years of experience advising businesses on cross-border tax matters, international expansion, financing, restructuring and compliance. 

His clients range from high-growth businesses to listed companies with global operations.

He joins S&W from BDO, where he spent four years as an international tax partner. 

Prior to that, he spent two decades at Deloitte, including five years as a partner.

Ed’s appointment follows S&W's recent move to larger premises on King Street in Manchester city centre, doubling its office space in the city. 

The expansion reflects the firm’s continued growth and investment in its advisory capabilities across the region.
