St. Modwen launches first Sunderland show home
A housing development has unveiled its first show home as demand grows for family properties on Sunderland’s outskirts.
St. Modwen Homes has opened its first show home at the Woodcroft Park development in Chapelgarth, welcoming hundreds of visitors during its launch weekend.
The five-bedroom Bowness property is the largest show home the five-star housebuilder has introduced in the North East.
Designed for growing families, it features three bathrooms, a separate living room and an open-plan kitchen, dining and family space leading onto the garden.
Visitors to the launch event were able to explore the development and speak with independent financial advisers about home-buying options.
Woodcroft Park comprises a range of three, four and five-bedroom homes and is located close to the A19, offering convenient access to Sunderland city centre and surrounding areas.
The development is aimed at buyers seeking a balance between commuter links and local facilities.
Harry McMullen, sales manager at St Modwen Homes, said: “It was fantastic to see so many people visiting Woodcroft Park for the opening of the Bowness show home at the weekend.
“The Bowness is a stunning house type boasting spacious living and outdoor areas, a double garage and open-plan kitchen and the plush décor chosen by our stylists has really helped capture the art of the possible for those fortunate enough to purchase these homes.
“We have already received a significant number of enquiries following the event, so we would recommend anyone interested in the development to visit the show home sooner rather than later to avoid potentially missing out on their dream home.”
To encourage sales, St. Modwen Homes is offering a range of incentives for eligible purchasers, including support with deposits, stamp duty contributions, part-exchange and assisted move packages on selected homes reserved before the end of July.
Harry added: “Woodcroft Park is proving to be one of our most popular North East developments to date.
“Situated on the edge of Sunderland at Chapelgarth, it is only a few minutes’ walk away from open farmland, rural cycle paths and Burdon Village, while also being only a 30-minute drive from both Durham and Sunderland city centres, providing the perfect living environment for people from all walks of life and backgrounds.”
