Training provider grows with cyber education deal
A training support organisation has expanded with a takeover.
Mthree has bought cybersecurity education provider CAPSLOCK.
Bosses say the move bolsters London-based Mthree’s “ability to help leading finance, technology and public sector employers build job-ready teams in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and digital resilience”.
Founded in 2019, CAPSLOCK has reskilled more than 1200 adults into cyber careers and worked with organisations across sectors including financial services, telecoms, aerospace and defence, manufacturing and broadcasting.
Alex Headley, Mthree chief executive, said: “Cybersecurity and artificial intelligence are workforce issues as much as they are technology issues.
“Employers in technology, banking and the public sector cannot rely on hiring experienced specialists from a limited pool.
“CAPSLOCK brings deep cyber expertise, a proven training model and a clear focus on job outcomes.”
Lorna Armitage, CAPSLOCK co-founder and chief executive, added: “CAPSLOCK was founded to remove barriers to cybersecurity careers.
“Joining Mthree gives us the platform to take that mission further, supporting more learners and more organisations as cyber and artificial intelligence risks become more complex.”
