Accountancy firms join forces to expand reach

A Newcastle accountancy firm has expanded its national reach after completing a merger with a fellow practice in Herefordshire.

Cramlington-based Tennick Accountants has joined forces with Kinder Accountants, creating a combined team of 14-strong team across the two locations.

Founded by Graeme Tennick in 2012, Tennick has built a reputation for helping business owners use financial insights to drive growth beyond traditional compliance services. 

Kinder Accountants, founded by Sharon Baker, is known for its digital-first approach and focus on making finance more accessible for clients.

Graeme says the deal marks a significant milestone in Tennick’s growth strategy and follows a series of industry accolades, including Xero Small Firm of the Year and Accountancy Excellence’s Grand Prix Award for National Small Firm of the Year.

The expanded business has already begun investing in its Newcastle and Hereford teams while maintaining relationships with local suppliers and partners.
