The Tempus to serves up a taste of Spain
A Northumberland hospitality venue is bringing a taste of the Mediterranean to the region this summer with a weekend of Spanish-inspired food, drinks and entertainment.
The Tipi at The Tempus, near Alnwick, will host its Spanish Summer Soirée on Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27, following the success of its recent Mexican Summer Soirée.
Running from 4pm to 10pm on both evenings, the event will transform the venue into a relaxed Mediterranean-style setting, with Spanish-themed food specials, cocktails and live entertainment.
Guests can choose from a tapas-style menu created by the Tempus Estate Kitchen, with three small plates priced at £19.95 or five for £31.95.
A selection of summer cocktails and refreshing drinks will also be available.
Local musician Si Stephenson will perform on Friday evening, while Saturday will feature a curated playlist.
Set within the grounds of The Tempus, The Tipi offers an indoor-outdoor space with fire pits, festoon lighting and relaxed seating.
Entry is free and no booking is required.
Elain Meenaghan, group sales director at The Doxford Group, said: “We were delighted by the response to our Mexican Summer Soirée and wanted to continue bringing exciting, events to The Tipi throughout the summer.
“Our Spanish Summer Soirée is all about celebrating great food, fantastic company and the relaxed atmosphere that makes summer evenings so special.
“Whether you're joining us for drinks, dinner or simply to soak up the atmosphere, we look forward to welcoming guests for another memorable weekend at The Tempus.”
