Property consultancy expands Manchester base
A commercial property consultancy has moved to larger city centre offices in Manchester as it continues to grow its North West team and client base.
Jones Hargreaves has relocated to new premises at 49 King Street, strengthening its presence in the city following a busy year of project and portfolio work.
The national independent commercial building, project and sustainability consultancy works with investment funds, financial institutions, property companies and occupiers across industrial, office and retail assets.
Over the last 12 months, its Manchester office has completed more than 70 pre-acquisition due diligence surveys, covering more than four million sq ft of space.
The team has also advised Autotrader on its move away from Tony Wilson Place and supported the fit-out of Gilbanks at St Michaels.
The move comes as Jones Hargreaves expands its Manchester team, with Gabriel Burke joining as building services engineer from Method Consulting.
He joins associate partner Dave Alty, senior surveyor Elliott Price and building surveyor Max Booth in the Manchester office.
Nationally, Jones Hargreaves completed more than 900 instructions last year and now employs 56 people across eight offices.
Nick Twigg, partner and Manchester office lead, said: “Since opening our Manchester office in 2022, we have seen sustained growth across the North West.
“Our move to larger premises reflects our long-term commitment to the region and provides the capacity to support further expansion of the team.
“The recently refurbished office offers a high-quality working environment with excellent local amenities, and we look forward to welcoming both existing and prospective clients over the coming months.”
