Joint strengthens strategic leadership team
London-headquartered creative agency Joint has appointed Ayla de Moraes as head of strategy, a newly created role designed to support the agency’s continued growth and expanding client portfolio.
Ayla joins with experience spanning both independent agencies and major networks, including VCCP, Publicis Poke and McCann London.
Most recently, she served as head of strategy at Orange Panther Collective, where she advised emerging brands alongside clients including the Financial Times.
In her new role, Ayla will lead strategy across accounts including Amazon, Pilgrim's Europe and Belvoir Farm.
Reporting to chief strategy officer Rowenna Prest, she will also support Joint’s new business activity and help shape the agency's long-term strategic direction.
Throughout her career, Ayla has worked with a range of household brands including Nestlé, Garnier, Avis, Budget, Mercedes, Smart Car, O2 and Fentimans.
She also previously launched the Middle East’s first sustainable concept store, securing distribution rights for a number of internationally recognised sustainable brands.
Ayla said: “From the second I walked into Joint, I knew this was where I wanted to hang my hat.
“The momentum, the people, the brands, the work.
“It’s an agency built for what’s next.
“Not one that creates work for work’s sake, but work that genuinely moves people and businesses forward.
“I’m excited to be part of that momentum, helping our clients uncover growth where others aren’t looking and turning it into results that are as meaningful as they are measurable.”
Ayla’s appointment strengthens Joint’s senior leadership team as the agency continues to build on a sustained period of growth.
Rowenna Prest, chief strategy officer at Joint, added: “Ayla brings an incredible breadth of experience from big network agencies to small independents, spanning brand and digital strategy, all of which makes her perfectly placed to answer any modern marketing challenge.
“We’re very excited that she’s joining us.”
