Seriös Group to takes centre stage at Datalyst
A North East data solutions company will showcase its expertise at one of the region’s largest data and AI conferences this week.
Seriös Group will take centre stage at Datalyst 2026, which takes place at The Catalyst building in Newcastle this Friday (June 26).
Founder and chief executive Lee Rorison will deliver the headline opening keynote alongside Paul Wealls, principal consultant sports at partner Lenovo.
Their session, titled Driving Elite Sport Transformation, will explore how data and AI are being used to support change at scale in professional sport.
Lee will discuss how Seriös Group’s AI data solution technology, Seriös ONE, has been implemented at Sunderland AFC, bringing together data from across the club into a single platform.
The system is designed to make insights easier to access across commercial operations and on-pitch performance, while creating stronger foundations for AI adoption.
Lee said: “Headlining Datalyst is a valuable opportunity for us to share how data is delivering real-world results across enterprise organisations and elite sport.
“This year’s conference is set to be the biggest and best yet, and it is a privilege to be delivering the opening keynote in partnership with Lenovo.
“As a scaling North East business, we’re proud to support the communities we work in, and I’m looking forward to seeing the region’s data sector come together.”
Seriös Group experts will also join panel sessions on data governance, AI-led growth and trust in people, processes and data.
The company works across sectors including technology, financial services, gaming, sport, hospitality and the built environment.
It recorded 53 per cent growth in 2025/26, driven by Seriös ONE.
