FRP strengthens restructuring team

FRP Advisory has appointed Emma Thompson as a partner in its restructuring and recovery team, strengthening its expertise in contentious insolvency, asset recovery and enforcement.

Emma brings more than 20 years of experience advising businesses, lenders, creditors and stakeholders on complex insolvency and recovery matters. 

After beginning her career in banking, she moved into insolvency, qualifying as both an accountant and insolvency practitioner.

Her expertise includes asset tracing, creditor recovery actions, investigations into alleged misconduct and negligence, and cross-border enforcement work across offshore jurisdictions and international markets.

In her new role, Emma will focus on expanding FRP's contentious insolvency practice, with particular emphasis on international asset recovery, misconduct investigations and global enforcement mandates.

She said: “FRP has a strong reputation for the quality of its work and complexity of the mandates it advises on. 

“The business has real momentum, and joining as a partner is the start of a new and exciting stage in my career.

Emma’s appointment further strengthens FRP's restructuring and recovery offering while supporting the firm's continued investment in senior talent.
