Partou strengthens safeguarding team
Manchester-headquartered day nursery provider Partou has appointed Ryan Greenhalgh as head of safeguarding.
Ryan joins from Manchester City Football Club, where he led safeguarding strategy and governance across its UK and international operations.
He brings more than 15 years of experience across safeguarding, children’s services and education, having developed safeguarding frameworks, managed complex cases and worked closely with external agencies throughout his career.
His previous roles also include positions with Barnardo’s and Coram Voice, where he led services supporting children, young people and families.
Ryan said: “It’s exciting to be joining Partou where safeguarding is a core priority across all settings, supporting high-quality early years environments for children.
“I am passionate about creating safe, positive cultures in organisations where care comes first, and I look forward to playing a part in delivering fantastic experiences for all our children and families.”
Ryan’s appointment further strengthens Partou's safeguarding leadership as the nursery group continues to invest in protecting and supporting children across its settings.
Kirsty Jackson, Partou co-managing director, added: “As head of safeguarding, Ryan will lead Partou’s approach to child protection, ensuring regulatory compliance, providing strategic leadership and strengthening safeguarding practice across the organisation.
“He’s a trusted voice within the safeguarding sector, contributing to safeguarding advisory groups and helping shape practice more widely.
“Ryan also brings a thoughtful, experienced and collaborative approach, with a clear focus on creating safe, supportive environments where children and team members can thrive.
“We are delighted to have him onboard.”
