CWA acquires recruitment marketing specialist
A marketing agency has strengthened its service offering with the acquisition of a specialist recruitment marketing brand as it looks to broaden its expertise and support future growth.
Full-service agency CWA has bought West Midlands-based RedKnows, a consultancy recognised for its work in recruitment marketing and employee value propositions.
The deal expands Leicester-based CWA’s capabilities in helping organisations attract, recruit and retain talent, complementing its existing services across branding, content, digital, video, websites and experiential marketing.
RedKnows works with a range of UK and European businesses, supporting employers in reducing recruitment costs, improving staff retention and attracting candidates that align with their culture.
Nicola Adams, managing director and owner at CWA, said: “This development is a real milestone for CWA, as we embark on our next step as an agency that’s always been at the forefront of creativity.
“RedKnows is a brand that’s also worked hard to cement a strong reputation in the sectors it works in and there’s real culture and brand synergy between RedKnows and CWA.”
Neil Rudolph, director and former managing director of RedKnows, added: “RedKnows is well known for impactful and high return on investment EVP and employer branding strategy for in house talent teams.
“We’re very proud of the work we’ve done over the last eight years, and this is a really exciting opportunity for CWA to take the RedKnows brand to the next level.
“I’m excited to see what they can achieve.”
Founded in 1965, CWA has built an international client base spanning sectors including transport, automotive and industrial, with brands such as Volvo Group, Renault Trucks and FirstGroup among its customers.
The acquisition follows a successful period for the agency, which recently secured multiple Gold and Silver honours at the Corporate Content Awards, alongside the Best Media Relations Campaign title at the CIPR Midlands Awards.
