Financial adviser launches Aberdeen firm
A new financial planning firm has launched in Aberdeen with a relationship-led approach, offering personalised advice to individuals, families and business owners across the North East of Scotland.
Fifty Financial Planning has been founded by Elaine Clunie, who brings almost 20 years’ experience within St. James’s Place Partner Practices to the new venture.
Operating as a St. James’s Place Partner Practice, the company will provide tailored financial planning services designed to help clients build, protect and preserve their wealth for the future.
Elaine began her career in financial services in 2006, progressing from personal assistant to practice manager and paraplanner before qualifying as a financial adviser in 2019.
Most recently, she served as an advising principal and director at Buchan Wealth Management.
Elaine has also been recognised as a top rated adviser through VouchedFor for six consecutive years.
Alongside supporting a broad range of clients, Fifty Financial Planning will place a particular focus on helping women feel more confident in managing their finances.
Elaine said: “Establishing Fifty Financial Planning marks an exciting new chapter in my career and reflects the values that have guided me throughout the last two decades.
“Financial planning is about far more than money.
“It’s about helping people make informed decisions, achieve their goals and feel confident about the future.
“I believe advice should be personal, understandable and centred around what matters most to each individual and family.
“The name Fifty Financial Planning reflects a significant milestone in both my life and career.
“Reaching fifty gave me the opportunity to reflect on the experience, knowledge and perspective I have gained over the years and to create a business that truly reflects how I believe financial advice should be delivered.
“I am incredibly grateful for the trust clients have placed in me over the years and look forward to continuing to support them, while building new relationships across the North East and beyond.”
