S&W invests in transaction services with senior Partner appointment in London

S&W, the fast-growing professional services group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Martin as a Partner to lead its transaction services practice, based in London. The hire forms part of the firm’s continued growth strategy and reflects its ongoing investment in broadening its advisory and transaction services capabilities.

Paul is a highly experienced transaction advisory professional, with over 30 years’ experience advising private equity funds, institutional investors and corporate clients ranging from owner-managed businesses to multinational organisations. His expertise spans a wide range of strategic transactions, including acquisitions, divestments, carve-outs, restructurings and refinancings.

Prior to joining S&W, Paul led the transaction advisory services business at Kroll, where he built and scaled a successful, multi-disciplinary team over a seven-year period. He has over 20 years’ experience operating at Partner level at EY and Grant Thornton. His experience spans the mid-market through to large-cap private equity and corporate clients. Paul’s sector experience extends across industrials, aerospace and defence, energy, technology, telecoms, healthcare, consumer, and services.

At S&W, Paul will play a key role in further developing the firm’s transaction services offering, working closely with colleagues across the wider advisory practice to deliver integrated support to clients navigating increasingly complex deal environments.

Commenting on his appointment, Paul Martin, Partner, transaction services at S&W, said: “The transaction advisory landscape is evolving rapidly, as investors place greater emphasis on quality, resilience and value creation. Equity stories need to be robustly supported by data, with analytics and AI playing an increasingly central role. S&W has strong momentum and a clear growth agenda focused on delivering high-quality, insight-led advice. I’m delighted to be joining the firm and look forward to contributing to the continued development of its transaction services practice.”

Andrew Wilkes, CEO at S&W, added: “Paul’s appointment represents a significant investment in our transaction services capabilities. His extensive experience, strong market reputation and track record of building high-performing teams will be invaluable as we continue to broaden our offering and support clients across the full deal lifecycle.”
