BTG Eddisons strengthens valuations team
Property consultancy BTG Eddisons has strengthened its Sheffield valuations team with the appointment of senior surveyor James Parkin.
James joins from Cushman & Wakefield, bringing experience across industrial, logistics, retail and office assets.
A chartered surveyor and RICS registered valuer, he began his property career in Sheffield after graduating from Sheffield Hallam University.
James said: “I’m thrilled to be returning to Sheffield, where I started my property career, and to be joining BTG Eddisons at such an exciting time for the business.
“The firm has ambitious growth plans and a strong reputation in the market, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to support clients across the region and contribute to the continued growth of the Sheffield office.”
James’ appointment supports BTG Eddisons’ continued expansion across South Yorkshire, responding to growing demand for valuation advice across a range of sectors.
Michael Goodare, director at BTG Eddisons in Sheffield, added: “James’ appointment is part of the wider expansion of our South Yorkshire operation and we are delighted to welcome another talented surveyor to the team.
“We continue to see strong demand for valuation advice across the region and have invested in growing the team to ensure we have the expertise and capacity to support clients with an increasing volume and range of instructions.”
The firm has also celebrated the qualification of Jamie Lowe, who has become a chartered surveyor and RICS registered valuer after joining the Sheffield office as a graduate surveyor in 2024.
The milestone increases the number of registered valuers in the team to three, further strengthening its regional valuation capability.
Michael added: “Congratulations also go to Jamie on achieving his APC qualification.
“His success further strengthens our valuation offering and increases our capacity to deliver for clients.”
