Ensors bolsters Norwich team
East Anglian accountancy and business advisory firm Ensors, part of Azets, has appointed Clare Goodswen as private client partner in its growing Norwich office.
Clare joins from a regional accountancy firm, bringing extensive experience in private client tax advisory.
A chartered tax adviser and former chair of the East Anglian branch of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, she specialises in supporting high-net-worth individuals with complex tax, trust and estate planning.
Clare said: “I am pleased to have joined Ensors at an exciting time of growth for the business.
“I intend to use my experience and local knowledge to help continue the upward progression trajectory of the Norwich office.
“My extensive background supporting Norfolk residents helps me to provide clients with a strategic approach to tackle the ever-changing tax legislation and compliance.”
Based in Ensors’ city centre office, Clare’s appointment further strengthens the firm’s private client offering as it continues to expand its presence in Norwich.
Her arrival supports Ensors’ continued growth following its acquisition by Azets in 2025, while enhancing the firm’s specialist tax expertise across East Anglia.
Ensors’ Norwich office partner Chris Barrett added: “Clare is a familiar face and formidable force in Norwich who has brought a wealth of experience across various sectors, which will be of great benefit to the team and our expanding services offerings.
“She is particularly well known for the innovative way she approaches tax planning and for her determination to minimise personal tax liabilities by delivering effective results for clients.
“She has already hit the ground running and we look forward to supporting her integration into the team.”
