JHE appoints new health and safety manager
Livingston-based mechanical and electrical services specialist John Heaney Electrical (JHE) has appointed Garry Eggo as its new health and safety manager.
Garry joins from commercial groundworks and civil engineering firm Carmichael and Baxter, where he held a similar role, bringing extensive experience in health and safety management.
During his career, he has also worked with INEOS at its Grangemouth refinery and ExxonMobil’s chemical plant at Mossmorran in Fife.
Garry, who lives in Glenrothes and has taken over from the retiring Matt Bamford, said: “The first impressions of the company have been very good.
“It is really well run, well organised and there has been a great handover.
“I’m looking forward to adding value to the business.
“Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming and that has helped me settle in.”
Garry’s appointment further strengthens JHE’s commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards as the business continues to support clients across the mechanical and electrical services sector.
Managing director Mark Heaney added: “Garry has excellent credentials, interviewed well and was the stand out candidate through what was a thorough selection process.
“He will be a welcome addition to the team and as well as health and safety, he will be involved in quality assurance as well.”
