Caddick joins YORbuild procurement framework

A construction company has strengthened its public sector pipeline after securing a place on a regional procurement framework.

Wakefield-headquartered Caddick Construction has been appointed to YORbuild’s Major Works 2 Framework for projects valued between £10 million and £30 million, marking its first inclusion on the framework.

The contractor has secured a place on the £600 million Lot 1, enabling it to deliver public sector construction projects across Yorkshire and the Humber, the North East and large parts of the East Midlands.

Widely used by local authorities, health organisations, education providers and emergency services, the framework supports the procurement of projects with a focus on social value, low-carbon delivery and modern methods of construction.

The appointment further strengthens Caddick Construction’s growing presence on public sector frameworks as it continues to expand across key regions.

It follows the company’s recent selection across four lots of the Department for Education’s £15 billion Construction Framework 2025, further enhancing its opportunities within the public sector.

Paul Dodsworth, group managing director of Caddick Construction Group, said: “Our appointment to the YORbuild Major Works 2 Framework marks an important milestone for Caddick Construction and reflects the strength of our growing reputation in the public sector.

“As our first appointment to a YORbuild Major Works Framework, this gives us an excellent opportunity to build on our proven track record of delivering high-quality, sustainable projects that create lasting value.

“Public sector investment continues to play a vital role in shaping the future, and we are proud to be recognised as a trusted delivery partner capable of supporting these ambitions.

“The framework’s strong focus on social value, low-carbon construction and modern methods of delivery closely aligns with our own business values and long-term approach.

“We look forward to working with our framework partners at YORbuild and public sector clients to deliver projects that make a meaningful difference to the people and places they serve.”
