Maintenance firm 'takes step forward' with takeover
A property maintenance and compliance services firm has expanded with a takeover.
Axis CLC has bought Fieldway Group.
Bosses say the move for the fire safety and compliance operator marks a “significant step in delivering its vision to be the trusted partner of choice”.
Under the terms of the deal, Liverpool-based Fieldway – which works across sectors including education, healthcare and housing – will continue to operate through its existing brand, with managing director Tony Carden remaining at the helm.
Richard Morris, chief executive at Axis CLC, which works with clients including councils and education providers through an office network stretching from Northumberland to Plymouth, said: “The acquisition of Fieldway will enhance our offer.
“We look forward to working closely with Fieldway’s management and staff to build on their impressive track record of growth and reputation for excellent service.”
Tony added: “Joining Axis CLC is an exciting next step.
“The business brings the scale, resources and broader customer relationships to support our next phase of growth.”
Axis CLC’s 20-plus office portfolio includes bases in London; Bristol; Catterick Garrison, in North Yorkshire; Darlington; Leeds; Liverpool; and Walsall.
