Copeland looks to secure future with AI platform
A Wirral-based security provider has unveiled a six-figure investment in an AI-enabled technology platform to support ambitious expansion plans over the next three years.
Copeland Group Services has launched its new TrakNet operating platform, developed by its in-house technology division, to streamline operations across its security, monitoring and facilities management services.
At the heart of the platform is T.A.L.I.U.M. (Tactical, Adaptive, Logical, Intelligent, Unified Manager), a voice-activated AI assistant that gives staff instant access to live business data, including workforce scheduling, operational performance, customer information and vehicle tracking through conversational prompts.
The wider TrakNet ecosystem also includes Copeland Connect, a workforce app supporting mobile teams with functions such as clocking in, incident reporting and lone worker protection, alongside TrakNet VMS, which remotely monitors more than 7000 CCTV cameras, intruder alarms and fire systems across the UK.
Kyle Disley, chief executive of Copeland Group Services, said: “As the business grows, we need systems that scale with it.
“TrakNet is our answer to that challenge and sits at the very core of our strategy.
“We have developed and built the technology ourselves, tailored precisely to what we do and what our clients need.
“It keeps us ahead of the curve, improves efficiency for our teams and futureproofs the business as we expand, both in the UK and internationally.
“T.A.L.I.U.M. is a key part of this and marks a step change in how we run the business.
“Being able to ask a question and get an instant, intelligent answer from across all of our data, whether operational, financial or workforce-related, genuinely sets Copeland apart.
“By removing the need to navigate multiple systems or reports, T.A.L.I.U.M. empowers decision-making at every level of the group, from the control room to the boardroom.”
The investment forms part of Copeland’s strategy to double in size over the next three years through organic growth and potential acquisitions.
Founded in 2003, the Bromborough-headquartered business employs more than 80 people and provides security, monitoring and maintenance services nationwide, supporting sectors including construction, logistics, automotive, property management and hospitality.
