Care operator expands with 'important' deal
A home care operator has expanded.
Patience Healthcare Group has bought CDT.
Officials say the Guernsey-based 26-bed residential nursing and elderly care home broadens Patience Healthcare Group’s services into the long-term residential nursing industry.
Under the terms of the deal, the Torteval-based home will continue to be led by its existing management team.
Founded in 2021, Patience Healthcare Group – which has bases in Eastbourne, Middlesbrough and Wilmslow – provides care to people in their own homes across the UK.
Jack Baker, Patience Healthcare Group director, said: “This marks an important step in the next phase of our growth.
“CDT has built a strong reputation over many years and we look forward to building on that.”
The deal was supported by Growth Lending funding, which allowed Patience Healthcare Group to buy the trading business and freehold property.
Dan Hewitt, director – healthcare at London-based Growth Lending, added: “We are pleased to partner with Patience Healthcare to support its expansion into the residential nursing sector.”
The deal was introduced by Capital Finance Group.
