Brookfield Care Home names new manager

Nab Wood-based Brookfield Care Home has appointed Samire Pervetica as its new registered manager.

Samire joins Czajka Care Group after spending 13 years at Larchfield Manor Care Home in Harrogate, where she progressed from kitchen assistant to registered manager.

She began working at the home while still at school before moving into care, later advancing through senior carer and deputy manager roles.

Samire takes over leadership of the 45-bed care home, which provides residential, respite and palliative care for people across Bradford, Saltaire, Shipley and the Aire Valley.

She said: “Although I didn’t plan for a career in care, I started working in the kitchen part-time at 16 and I kept coming back because I loved the environment and the people.

“Once I moved into a care role at 18, I realised how passionate I was about supporting residents and making a difference to their lives.

“I worked my way through every role and stayed with my previous employer for 13 years.

“It was a very big decision to leave somewhere I had been for so long, but joining another family-run organisation was important to me.

“Czajka Care Group has a really good reputation, and I could see there was an opportunity to make a positive impact at Brookfield Care Home.”

Samire added: “One of my first priorities is to continue building on the culture in the home.

“The team works incredibly hard and my focus is on supporting them, building confidence and helping everybody feel valued in their roles.

“Good leadership is about trust, positivity and creating a stable environment for both staff and residents.”

Brookfield Care Home has undergone significant investment in recent years, including the addition of new en-suite bedrooms, upgraded facilities and landscaped communal areas as part of its wider village-style setting.

Samire’s appointment supports the home's continued commitment to delivering high-quality care for residents.

Konrad Czajka, managing director of Czajka Care Group, said: “Samire’s career journey reflects our company’s own values, and her story is incredibly inspiring, because she has worked her way up through dedication, compassion and hard work.

“She brings extensive experience, strong leadership skills and genuine passion for care, and we are delighted to welcome her to Brookfield Care Home.”
