Valouran strengthens senior leadership team with new partner
Global property developer and placemaker Valouran has appointed Charles Leigh as partner as the company continues to strengthen its leadership team and support its next phase of growth.
Charles joined Valouran as sales director when the business was founded in 2022 and has played a key role in developing its sales operations across a portfolio of nine major London sites, representing more than £4 billion in assets.
He brings more than 30 years’ experience in the prime residential property sector, having previously held senior roles at firms including CBRE, Knight Frank and SPINK.
His career has included leading sales strategies for high-profile developments and landmark schemes across Prime Central London.
Charles has worked alongside Valouran founders Alex Michelin and Matthew Robertson since 2015, supporting major projects including Twenty Grosvenor Square, Kingwood in Knightsbridge and The Whiteley.
He said: “I am incredibly proud to be joining Alex and Matt as a partner in a business that I have believed in since day one.
“It continues to be a privilege to work alongside such a talented team and to contribute to the growth and success of a business that is helping redefine Prime Central London.
“Throughout my career, I have always believed that great sales are built on passion, trust, long-term relationships and a deep understanding of what buyers truly value: a great product, beautifully designed.
“Combining these has helped shape our commercial strategy as well as the design, positioning and experience of our developments.
“Sales is often the closest point of contact to the market, and the relationships we build with buyers, advisers and industry partners, provide invaluable insight into how people want to live today.
“With an outstanding team and some of London’s most exciting projects ahead of us, I look forward to helping shape the next chapter of Valouran’s growth.”
Charles’ appointment comes as Valouran progresses a number of significant developments across London, including Bishops Avenue Gardens, Connaught House, The Whiteley, 60 Curzon in Mayfair and The Broadway in St James’s Park.
Alex Michelin, co-founder of Valouran, added: “It is with the greatest pleasure that Matt and I formally welcome Charles as a Partner at Valouran.
“Over the last 11 years working together Charles has become a hugely valued and trusted member of the team, not just for what he has delivered in terms of deals, but for who he is.
“His instinct, integrity, passion, ability to build relationships, and unwavering commitment to excellence has helped shape Valouran into what it is today.
“We could not be more excited to have Charles by our side as we write the next chapter of Valouran’s story.
“The best is very much still to come.”
